Norchester was well represented with 7 placewinners out of a total of 8 wrestlers qualifying for Eastern Nationals, the most ever from our club. HUGE congrats to all who qualified!

2008 OHIO TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
Xavier Ferrizzi, Conor Mitchell, Dominic Petrucelli, and Colby Frank joined over 2,600 wrestlers from across the country at the Ohio Tournament of Champions on April 26, 2008. Ohio TOC is one of the most challenging youth wrestling competitions in the country. Congratulations to all for qualifying and wrestling tough! Placewinners include:

AAU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DUALS on April 12-13, 2008
Ryan Resnick went 10-1 wrestling for team "Pennsylvania Select" at the AAU Elementary School Duals on April 12-13, 2008 in Kingsport Tennessee. Ryan helped Team PA place 3rd out of 28 of the best teams in the country!

The Norchester Dual Team finished 5th out of 10 teams at the Puternic Duals. 3 wins on the day came against Rising Sun (73-7), Penn Manor (55-12), and Greater Norristown (48-25), and 2 losses against Puternic (27-49) and North Baltimore Wrestling Club (27-35).

We had over 30 wrestlers participating in both the individual and dual tournaments, with several individual champions and top 3 placewinners. The dual team placed 2nd with significant wins over Spring Ford, Pottsville, Branchville (NJ), and Blue Mountain. Norchester's only loss was to Boyertown by just 6 points. View pics
